Leases and Real Estate

Location, Location, Location. Whether you lease or own your office, it is one of your practice’s most important assets. Remember, your location is essential to maintaining your practice goodwill.

If you rent your office, your lease agreement can improve the value of your practice and protect your career, or it can be a constant source of conflict and may hurt your ability to transfer ownership of your practice. If you own your office location or are thinking about buying, you need to ensure that your purchase is protected and won’t affect your long-term practice goals.

Board Defense

Unsatisfied patients may file a complaint with the Minnesota Board of Dentistry. Communicating clearly with the Board about your treatment and taking proactive steps in your office is the best defense.

We can help you respond to patient complaints before they are filed with the Board of Dentistry. We will help you defuse or settle patient complaints early in the process. If a complaint is filed with the Board, the Attorney General’s Office, or another government entity, we will help you understand your rights and respond accordingly.
